I had problems with the Rage Fury 32 Meg card. After a week of trying
this driver and that driver I pretty much gave up and bought a real
video card. (3DFX Voodoo 3).

Sure the Rage looked really great in 95/NT but in Linux it never worked.

I understand there are drivers for SUSE that support this card. Tried
them also with RedHat. No soap guys. It just didn't work.

Oh well... Maybe ATI will get a grip and start supporting us like
everybody else. Otherwise they are going to be seeing more and more
returns as time goes on ;D

Regards

Frank

AFAIK the Rage Fury is actually a Mach128.
Try the driver from

ftp://ftp.precisioninsight.com/pub/precisio/XFCom/XFCom-r128-glibc2.1-1.0.0-1.i386.rpm

Or, if you prefer compiling your own,

ftp://ftp.precisioninsight.com/pub/precisio/XFCom/r128-1.0.0-source.tar.gz
