Actually I did have the symblink setup.  The instructions I was given
(online URL) were very good but it still didn't help :/

I was running RH 5.2 with all updates.  Perhaps 6.1 would have however I
had other problems to contend with.  Multiboot for one.  Apparently
diskdruid was doing horrible things to my system preventing NT from
booting at all!  

But that's another long story and for now I'm satisfied.  Hopefully
RedHat will allows us to 'choose' in the future our prefered disk
partitioning tool (Disk Druid or fdisk).  I think this was the cause of
my NT headaches.  Not to mention I'm a controll freak.  I know what I
want to do and prefer doing it rather than being forced to use a tool to
make it so ;D
