Hi Tom.I experimented in June with some available light
at an indoor reining show,no flash.I wanted to shoot at 800 and
1600,but mostly 800.I did some adjustments in Elements
(i like the one touch colour adjuster)and printed out a 5x7.
At that size it looked nice.I have some scaled to web examples
on http://home.ca.inter.net/brooksdj
click on the reining link.I dont know if you can
see what you want from these pictures though.

Have you shot much in low light? My last quibble with digital is low
light capability - what do prints shot at 800 or 1600 look like? The
D30 has too much noise above 400, supposedly the D60 is improved in
this respect.

If someone, *anyone*, comes out with a DSLR under $3k that can produce
decent results at 1600 I'll probably buy it.
