I really don't think that Pentax should wait for a "full size" chip. 
They should get something out the door now before they lose any more
market share and come out with the full size CCD when everyone else
does, i.e., when the technology is a bit more mature. ( I think the chip
used in the Contax model was rushed to market, and I have heard about
problems with it, probably on this list.)

Hi Bruce,

Let's hope that Pentax sticks to the original plan and produces a full
frame 
DSLR, then ther'd be no issue, if not though I hope its fairly large so
that 
the multiplyer is small, thankfully with my range of SLR lenses I'd
only miss 
out at the ultra-wide lens in any case.
