My FA200/4 Macro story.
After listening to Tom Reese waxing eloquent about this lens, I decided I
wanted one. Iit was listed as available on Pentax Canada's website.
So, I got in touch with Don's Photo, and asked them to research one and get
back to me.
Later that day, the Don himself phoned me, told me a scary price and did I
want it anyway.
I said sure, as I had gone from want to need in the short time between
calls.
Later still, the Don called me again, Pentax said it was no longer
available, but the rep had found a salesman's sample in the USA, and did I
want it.
The price quoted was just over a third of new price.
Anyway, I said sure, and so PCI brought it up from the USA, ran a CLA on it
and sent it out to me. The whole thing took a couple of weeks.
I don't think they are available anymore.
