I rarely hear of slide shows. My own have been going since I was at school and it's mainly the same folk who came to the first few who come today - albeit it now with their own families. If the interest went for showing them, I'd do them for my own benefit, but the expectation is always there and they go down well. Maybe it's an age thing? Still, each to their own, I like slides and the market place today will mean I can get the slide projector I always wanted at a knock down price, because of its limited following. Malcolm
