Actually, I'd a take D70 with a pentax name on it... Films days are numbered. Just because one catalog out of thousands has more film stuff than digital just means those guys are milking the remaining film market pretty effectively. Film and Digital are at the point now where each makes some concessions to the other in terms of their respective advantages. But film has already reached it's pinnacle, digital on the other hand, has a long way to go, and will eventually be better than film in everyway. And film will then be left for the REALLY stubborn people, for the people who think they see a difference, or for the people who just enjoy using darkrooms. But, those groups are growing smaller by the day IMO.
-el gringo "Digital cameras are mass market items. They sell in droves at minimal markups. I used to think Pentax aficionados were not mass market types. But apparently that has changed also. Not only do you guys want the latest cheapest mass market digital technology, you also seem to want it to be exactly like the other guys LCMMDT. Many of you seem to want a digital Rebel, with a Pentax name tag on it, sold in Wal-Mart by pimple faced kids who don't even know how to spell photography."
