Thanks to CodeKipper I complied the sound patches for the latest sunxi-next kernel, but I still have issues. I am trying to use a command line voip application and first play a sample provided by the app (which is doing: Opening sound device PCM@8000/1/20ms) If I list the devices I get these: Found 2 devices 0: ALSA [default:CARD=sunxicodec] (0/1) 1: ALSA [sysdefault:CARD=sunxicodec] (0/1) But when I try to play the sample I get Error opening sound device: Unable to find default audio device When I try to use an USB DAC (I actually tried two different ones), the device can be opened, but I only get distorted sounds. Does anybody successful use sound on mainline with an A20 (and with what devices? onboard? USB?) and am I missing something? Any comments are welcome.
