Hi, I'd just like to add that I too would be very happy to see the analogue audio support end up in mainline. I've been using what Emilio has published so far for a few months now for applications such as VoIP, and it has been extremely useful. When combined with the brilliant simplefb work done by Luc and Hans, it allows a cheap A20 box to be used as a basic desktop computer running a system such as Debian with an up-to-date kernel. It would be a shame if missing support for older hardware pushed up the cost of such a system out of reach of those on a low budget. Thanks a lot to all who contribute here.
