Hi I already did a post, but somehow it seems it got lost. If this is a double post, please ignore.
Thanks to Codekipper I could compile the audio patches and I did include the latest DMA patches from Emilio. But somehow I can“t get the sound to work. I try to use a command line VoIP application which is trying to play a sample (Opening sound device PCM@8000/1/20ms) I try to output this sample using the internal audio or two different USB DACs. With Kernel 3.4 all three work fine. Using 3.19 with patches trying with the USB DACs I only get distorted sound trying to play the sample Using the internal audio I get: Error retrieving default audio device parameters: Unable to find default audio device If I list devices, I get two devices Found 2 devices 0: ALSA [default:CARD=sunxicodec] (0/1) 1: ALSA [sysdefault:CARD=sunxicodec] (0/1) Has anybody succesfully used Audio (internal or USB) with a recent kernel? Any Ideas what I could have done wrong? Is DMA transfer already used for USB? Thanks, Jens Am Donnerstag, 29. Januar 2015 08:23:59 UTC+1 schrieb CodeKipper: > > > You may also need some DMA changes.
