why you said that, in the latest version of QT (4.8.2) phonon is
distributed. it is also in the trunk.

Qt 5 development asked for months for someone to work on Phonon. Since no one
did by the time of the alpha and hasn't since for the beta, it's excluded.
ok thanks, an other reason to have an easy solution to use kde phonon
with qt :)
and do you know if it's replaced by something ?
