I too am dissatisfied with the resolution here, but let me correct the record
on one thing right now: bugs.kde.org is not violating the GDPR. There's a
banner when you sign up for an account informing you that your email address
will be publicly visible, and that if you don't want this to happen, you
shouldn't sign up for an account. This is GDPR-compliant.
