--- Comment #44 from Flossy Cat <flossy-...@online.de> ---
Farewell to everyone, who has tried to contribute to a good solution.

I did some bug-reporting on KDE the last months and essentially these bug
reports were either not acted upon or in a very unsatisfying manner like here.

All the while bugs.kde.org is happily spreading the e-mail addresses of all
participants like there is no tomorrow or no GDPR.
(While on the other hand KDE representatives are sanctifying regressions by "we
do not know about actual usage of features because we are so privacy-aware" …)

Fact 1: even if KDE users do in length and breadth explain how and how
intensely they use a feature – as we did in this thread –, KDE gives a ****

Fact 2: the privacy handling of bugs.kde.org is neither state of the art nor
in concordance with the General Data Protection Regulation of the EU.

Fact 3: A representative of KDE has been informed by me concerning the – IMH
expert's O – GDPR violations on 2024-09-01 19:07 via e-mail, i.e. a month ago.
No corrective action was taken.

Consequence 1: I've required the representative and the admins to immediately
remove my e-mail-address from public view and to delete my account.

Consequence 2: I do not consider KDE dependable anymore nor a trustee of the
common resource pool (or commons in the classical agricultural sense) of the
open source, which was entrusted to the community by a multitude of developers
– the gifts they made to the community are, IMHO, obviously not handled with
care and respect by KDE, as can be seen from this regression.

Again: my best wishes and respect for all those, who once made KDE an excellent
desktop and now tried to contribute to solutions – live long and prosper!
Farewell.
