--- Comment #111 from jack <j4ck...@pm.me> --- if your wallpaper and icons and desktop widgets all get reset it sounds like plasmashel didnt start correctly at all which i think is a different bug and beliving it has to do with wallpaper colors or sizes is superstition. When it happens you can try to restart plasmashell and see if that way you get your old icon positions, wallpaper, etc back: kquitapp5 plasmashell; sleep 2s; kstart5 plasmashell If yes then this is not the original bug - only icon scrambles are happening right after login and wallpapers/widgets all stay same. and even after a plasmashell restart the icons are still wrong as the wrong positions are already safed to the plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc file Btw: the icon-scramble only didnt happen to me for a month now after i added a metamode to my nvidia.conf screen section. i guess it is something to to with nvidia drivers like alot other bugs. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
