I tried 'plasmashell --replace', this didn't make any difference to wallpaper or icons. So I've made a zip file with three folders: each with plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc, plasmashellrc and plasmarc, plus screenshot in the two first. 'Before' is before the bug happens, 'after' is after the bug, and 'after2' is after I did 'plasmashell --replace'. In plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc there are many differences, only one difference in plasmashellrc (don't know if significant), and no difference in plasmarc. Somehow something goes wrong of course, but does plasmashell really have no log file?
