I don't have time and patience to have to reconfigure my desktop every time I plug in an external monitor or projector. Too sad to see it still doesn't work 2+ years after it was reported. Enrico - it's not nvidia, my laptop has a simple Intel graphics, no proprietary drivers involved. Nate - save that "get involved" rant for someone else please. I've done my part for FOSS already, thank you.
