David Eric Pugh commented on SOLR-14067: ---------------------------------------- Reading back, I see that the plan is to move it over to /contrib, versus a totally seperate project. That seems more doable, and I'll see if I can take a whack at that for 8.8 or 9! If we move it to a /contrib project, then it isn't actually "Deprecated" right? It just isn't available to Solr without you adding it explicitly, correct? > Deprecate StatelessScriptUpdateProcessor and disabled by default > ---------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: SOLR-14067 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-14067 > Project: Solr > Issue Type: Improvement > Reporter: Ishan Chattopadhyaya > Priority: Blocker > Fix For: 8.7 > > Time Spent: 10m > Remaining Estimate: 0h > > We should eliminate all scripting capabilities within Solr.
