No concerns so far. I'm going to revamp syntax as follows:
||Syntax||Behavior||
|uniqueBlock(field)|as-is field logic|
|uniqueBlock($fieldparam)..&fieldparam=field|as-is field reference logic|
|uniqueBlock(\{!v=type_s:pipe\})|new query logic|
|uniqueBlock(\{!v=$qref\})...&qref=K:amber some|new query referencing logic|
Looking forward for your opinion.
