I like that idea a lot.

There were 3 changes in the first set, which were approved a little
while back[0]:

    2.1 Include explicit reference to privacy
    2.2 Reduce all principles to < 140 characters
    2.3 Beef up references to "web literacy"

I think the first is a change of content, and the third an important
change of emphasis, and they should be retained in the canonical English
version. But I can certainly see a case for taking the changes made
under the second bullet, plus all of the changes in the second round
that Stacy is currently running, and making them solely for a "Twitter
English" version.
