AIUI, lists.a.o runs code based on PonyMail Foal, but they have some proprietary code (in particular the authentication). The page footer says: Powered by Apache Pony Mail (Foal v/1.0.1 ~78ad7bf). Some of the fixes to PonyMail Foal have been incorporated into lists.a.o, but that does not happen automatically. Infra have to request for changes to be made; there may be a charge involved. > Best, > tison. > > Dave Fisher <w...@apache.org> 于2025年3月20日周四 23:34写道: > > > > > Hi Tison, > > > > > On Mar 20, 2025, at 8:23 AM, tison <wander4...@gmail.com> wrote: > > > > > > Hi Dave, > > > > > > On Retirement, I have one question: does PonyMail have no more efforts > > > needed, even regular maintenance? > > > > The source for lists.apache.org belongs to the vendor and I believe that > > the PonyMail Podling’s source is a fork which differs and lacks > > proprietary parts.
