Here's a more realistic example of *actual use* from our code base:

This example shows that it's easier to read arguments at a glance
when they are aligned, IMO.
Do you find the arguments that people have against this convincing? If
not, would you mind elaborating why please?
(I personally have no strong preference either way, just trying to
understand where you're coming from...)
