My background is limited to a one semester programming course in 61.
Though I've spent >50 years surrounded by computer nerds, I've almost
always been hired for my background in instrumentation &/or component
level analog electronics. My on-the-job programming assignment was when
my employer was moving to this *NEW* processor, an 8085!
Personal hardware has include a PET, Kim, and a Kaypro10.
I've communicated with the outside world connected to a RBBS via an
acoustic coupler.
P.S. I'm old enough to be at least a grand-parent to many here.
