Hi George, I plan to deploy Steam on my Debian but I haven't begun to. I remember that on the Steam website, the website says that the requirement of the Steam app is 'a xxx version *Ubuntu' system'. They might have hardcoded this in the binary - hopefully just the early development. Hopes Steam get well soon, Miriami
