I wish to report a problem with Cinnamon Control Center. It does not load at all in Debian Sid which I am using. This has been a problem ever since the Cinnamon Desktop was updated to Cinnamon 6.4.1 from version 6.20.
Since the Control Center is needed to run the Cinnamon desktop it cannot be used without the Control Center so I was forced to remove the Cinnamon Desktop and install another desktop environment. Because of this. I have also tried to run the Cinnamon Desktop on my other Computer which as Debian Trixie which also has Cinnamon 6.4.1 and the control center is not working on there either. This is a bug which needs to be fixed . It could be that a library needed to run the control center is missing? At the moment the Cinnamon Desktop cannot be used because the Cinnamon Control Center won't open or load at all. *Andrea Borman.*
