I installed the NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-570.181.run driver and the
erratic keyboard response went away.
The slow boot problem is still there.
On boot, a splash screen is displayed for a couple seconds
Ubuntu 22.04
. . . .
Then the screen is black for a few seconds and another splash is
displayed
Ubuntu 22.04
Ubuntu 22.04 . . . .
After more than 2 minutes later, the screen is black for a couple
seconds and the login screen is displayed.
After that the system response seems normal.
