I didn't find a way to build an image from a livefs PPA with '-proposed'
enabled.

It's a source copy, not the same binary, as LP requires uploading
sources.

But the images are an extra. When I wrote:

I meant that I carried the tests described in the bug description as
described, installing from '-proposed' and **additionally** testing the
image built from the PPA (as doing so gets closer to the actual usage).
