Yes, certainly the next LTS should not have this bug anymore. It will have its own, new and shiny bugs ;-)
Any release after o-release (I believe oracular or something like that) should not exhibit the problem you unfortunately experienced. That's why the ticket itself was set to fix released. To get a fix into an earlier version, the customary thing to do is to add for example a "noble" task to the very same ticket that is then separately tracked as "open" or "confirmed" or again "fix released". I am happy to hear you successfully installed a more recent version and thus are hopefully having a better experience now. ** Changed in: solaar (Ubuntu) Assignee: Rolf Leggewie (r0lf) => (unassigned) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2083969 Title: Seemingly in Noble Solaar 1.1.11 is missing a dependency To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/solaar/+bug/2083969/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
