@r0lf Thank you for your comment.
That comment of yours contains some ambiguities. '[I]ts clearly wontfix in the LTS.' Who or what makes that the case? You? '[W]on't be introduced in an LTS' - in _any_ long-term-release? Please note also that the workarounds for a permanent fix are not in fact that trivial. Here is why. 1) Replugging the receiver is a pain. 2) Installing something with pip can be problematic. That is because of the thorny complications of Python packaging, including the fact that some distributions - such as Linux Mint - make it hard to install things using pip. 3) Adding a PPA to all of one's affected computers is something of a chore. Yet, I myself will take that option. What is the name of the PPA, please? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2083969 Title: Seemingly in Noble Solaar 1.1.11 is missing a dependency To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/solaar/+bug/2083969/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
