I added Clive's PPA to both my 16.04 travel laptop and my 16.10 daily- use laptop, and both had a clean upgrade, flawless pairing, and so far, all working features.
I encountered no error messages during the upgrade or after a restart. In both cases I fully upgraded before adding the PPA, and after, then removed the PPA.
