The packagename does appareantly not follow the given Ubuntu-naming- scheme, thus it looks like these can coexist – if it doesn't contain `replaces/breaks'.
I've subscribes the ppa-owner to this bug-report, before more like this pops-up here. Thinking the advice to use that ppa was given in OMG-Ubuntu [1] ? Didn't even spell the name correctly.
