See Below: I loved Beryl with its 3D windows but got rid of it because it was being deprecated and fused with Compiz. If I want to turn Compiz back on, which driver should I use? Is it safe yet? I spend several hours attempting to get *any* X driver to load, and the fact that the "bulletproof" X automatically launched with an unusuable display made it a lot tougher to manually cob together a usable Xorg.conf - A neophyte would be totally at a loss in this situation.
Also, there is no monitor definition for my Compaq P1100 - I think the closest one is a P1110.
