For the setup issues: the driver you (may) want is "radeon" or "ati". If your 9200 was using the fglrx driver, then that will no longer work properly because ATI has dropped support for it in the fglrx driver. The bugtracker is not a good place to get support for these things, however. You may want to either ask on <ubuntuforums.org>, or <answers.launchpad.net>.
