: I am working on this a bit. I tried to contact the guys involved in the Shale : prizes to see what they did, but I got no responses. Havn't looked into who I : might check with at Apache yet.
FYI: I used my member karma to go searching through some archives looking for examples of how this was done before -- i didn't find any, but i did find some general guidelines from the PRC about project logo's and logo contests. I've put what i found on the wiki and I've started an email thread with them to clarify some things. : Not sure how much of a prize we need though. Should be motivating, but doesn't : need to be crazy I think. not at all ... but it would definitley be nice to have an incentive to encourage "fresh blood" to take a crack at it so we have a nice large and diverse pool of options. -Hoss
