My Xorg.0.log is attached (there is also an Xorg.failsafe.log as the

Yes, the "sarvatt" version cannot work, but "gomyhr" (patched) version
can detect my TV and can set resolution to 1360x768 @ 60Hz.
xrandr report:

I think I worked around it by blacklisting ath_pci and using ath5k.

I think I had a similar related problem: I couldn't see the partitions
on my /dev/sda device (both NTFS, ext3 and swap) when I was installing
with either the Ubuntu 9.04 Desktop amd64 cd or the Kubuntu 9.04 Desktop
amd64 cd. The 8.04 kubuntu cd however worked fine.
My motherboard is an ASUS P5Q. T

it and everything looks as though it has worked properly, but no emails
are received or transmitted and at the bottom of evolution is a message

I have now installed 9.04 release to a flash card and can confirm that
the hotkey problems are still present for my msi wind with BIOS 1.0B.
Additionally I can confirm that the behaviour of other keys has changed
since 8.10. In particular the fn+f11 radio key does switch the widi on
and off in 9.04

I played the video in QuickTime and it's displayed exactly the same as
in Totem, MPlayer and VLC. It's actually the video which has the wrong
values set (mp4dump shows the wrong display dimensions of 654x208).

Maybe it's possible to turn the power-saving mode off through the BIOS? That's
what I have done with my ThinkPad T61.

I also have the same problem, when Flash in Firefox is playing audio,
neither VLC nor mplayer can play audio until I stop Firefox and restart
the video player.
I have integrated audio in a Dell Vostro 1400 laptop with the Mobile
PM965/GM965/GL960 chipset :
82801H (ICH8 Family) HD Audio Contr
ackage are satisfied I installed it onto my Hardy
server. The problem is still present: I do not believe this bug has been
fixed.

Running gnome on 2 monitors, in separate-x-screen mode. Click on a
quick-launch icon, and a blank error dialog pops up, and won't go away.

The bug has been fixed upstream in gst-plugins-base
(http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=537889) and Totem
(http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=545566).
It's now just a matter of waiting for new releases and then for the
packages to land in Ubuntu.
