I moved the .purple folder and restarted. Immediately it logged me into
my accounts and started to use 100% cpu again. This was odd since it
shouldn't have known about my accounts with the .purple directory gone.
I noticed there was a .gaim directory and the .purple had been recreated

I just installed intrepid from beta and then ran updates etc. and now my
wacom graphire4 4x5 is working without any changes from me.
Unfortunately, only the stylus is working, the eraser is not nor is the
scroll wheel on the tablet.

I have confirmed this. I get the same result every time when running
usb-creator 0.1.7 on Intrepid to create a bootable Ubuntu 8.04.1 LTS
usb stick. I've tried creating both with and without allocating reserved
extra space.
The system starts too boot and then, within a few seconds, I'm stuck at

This works in Intrepid with both radeon and radeonhd drivers. The frame

I am using Intrepid, and the annoying password dialog appears when I try
to push changes to a github repo. The problem is that the dialog does
not accept any clipboard pasting or dropping, which means I have to type
in my passphrase (which is long) by hand. I managed to get rid of this
dialog in

or so I am led to believe from the upstream report.

In my case, I fixed this by deleting /all/ my sqlite files (find -name
"*sql*" -delete from the profile directory). Interestingly, this
resulted in no noticeable changes to my profile, possibly because it is
mostly migrated from Firefox 2.

I get this with a geforce4 MX420 PCI card as well.
Get the initial boot graphics (ubuntu + progress bar) then blank.
Hardy 8.04, Nvidia-glx 1:96.43.05+2.6.24.13-19.44
All up to date 7-Jul-2008. same xconf.
