"Fix Committed" means that the fix has been uploaded to our bzr branch. It doesn't mean that the fix has been included in Ubuntu yet.
Anyway, we're happy to apply further patches if you send them. But it's more helpful if the patch is made against our bzr branch so that it applies cleanly. If you are not working directly against our bzr branch, just send the whole file instead of a patch.
