Public bug reported: Recently, a number of Ubuntu users have been submitting general Ubuntu- related problems to the coreutils mailing list. The coreutils mailing list is not a general Ubuntu forum and is not able to handle these requests. We suspect that there is some documentation erroneously pointing users at our list (however, several requests to know how users ended up at our list have not had replies).
We would appreciate if Ubuntu would investigate this situation and correct whatever is causing users to wrongly end up at our mailing list.
