Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open Chromium
2. Visit Gmail (i am visiting already signed in so i do not enter login
information)
3. While the page is partially loaded, after a few seconds i get a warning that
Google Talk plugin is not responding
4. I keep getting the us

Yesterday, I have installed Lubuntu 01-10-2013 amd64 (saucy) from
LiveUSB Created by UNetbootin on P4 with less than 512MB RAM and it did
reboot but the problem is, there is no message asking you to remove the
media and press enter to reboot.
It seems on the LiveCD, it fails to reboot. But,
Long story short:
1- Bug is still alive
2- Happens with LiveCD/LiveDVD
3- It is NOT happening with LiveUSB - whenever you use LiveUSB, once you click
on "Restart" after the installation is done, it will reboot your machine
without any message at all. Which is, different behaviour.

In my case:

Menu > Logout > Lock Screen
ctrl+alt+F1
ctrl+alt+F7
Result: session is unlocked without entering a password

You are right. For now, as a workaround for this very annoying bug,
installing XScreensaver will do the needful as explained on:

But, as you all may know, 'xscreensaver' is not installed by defau
This bug is one year old (2012-10-17) I think it is better to close it
since it affects only one - This bug affects 1 person.

This happened with me when I was trying to force upgrade Xubuntu 13.10
to Trusty few days ago and I think this will affect all the other
flavours as well.
