Posting this from Saucy Daily Build (01-10-2013) amd64 Fresh Install and I can confirm the isntallation is done successfully from the frist try and after installation, everything is okay. >From both "top" and "free -m" I can see zram is enabled by default. If you need any more infromation, I will be very glad to provide.
