Public bug reported: This has been started since Lubuntu 11.10 and it is still happening on Lubuntu 12.04 Beta 2 on both the 32-bit version and the 64-bit version on two different machines (one laptop and one PC).
How to produce that? keep opening the menu then open a sub-menu (one of the categories - say Accessories) and then click on the desktop. The menu will NOT disappear UNLESS you go back and click again on the menu. This is really annoying and I hope it's not too late to fix this before the final release of Lubuntu 12.04 :) I will include a screenshot if that is necessary: http://i41.tinypic.com/vzhoyg.jpg ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04 Package: lxpanel 0.5.8+git20120212-0ubuntu2 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.2.0-20.33-generic 3.2.12 Uname: Linux 3.2.0-20-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 1.95-0ubuntu1 Architecture: amd64 Config_Home_Lubuntu: [Command] FileManager=pcmanfm %s Terminal=lxterminal -e Logout=lubuntu-logout Date: Sun Apr 1 14:50:19 2012 InstallationMedia: Lubuntu 12.04 "Precise Pangolin" - Beta amd64 (20120328) ProcEnviron: TERM=xterm PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: lxpanel UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: lxpanel (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug precise -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/970758 Title: Menu is frozen after opening it and it will not disappear (even after clicking on the desktop) unless clicking on it again To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lxpanel/+bug/970758/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
