itself very soon, with black screen and white arrow pointer on it. So I
can't even snap dmesgs with 2.6.38-1, they are snapped with 2.6.37-12

Well, I removed KDM and rebooted without it.
I use wicd instead of Network Manager because of lp:689529 so it brings up my
wireless connection without requiring manual GUI actions. And this causes a
nice kernel panic (retyping from the screen) :

In Skype test call, I hear only ugly noise when I let Skype adjust
recording level, and silence (or very silent noise) when I disable this
adjustent in Skype and set it at 20..50% by alsamixer (Internal Mic
Boost and Capture levels).

$ seamonkey

removed also /usr/lib/seamonkey-2.0.13/components/libdbusservice.so
then seamonkey started seemingly fine, but crashed in libspellchecker.so very
soon
removed /usr/lib/seamonkey-2.0.13/components/libspellchecker.so , and seamonkey
works more stable afterwards (including Mail&NewsGroups)
But for
ok, this behaviour is disappeared with kernel package 2.6.28-2
at least, it does not happen that soon.
let me watch for it for some more time .
