I run apache2-mpm-prefork+php+php-gettext. Whenever I install a new
version of the .mo files, the apache process crashes on next load.
Running /etc/init.d/apache2 reload fixes it.

I had another related problem when I upgraded a friend's 8.04 to 10.04.
With the unaltered settings the after the upgrade, amarok was configured
to prefer alsa over pulseaudio.
When you run flashplugin-nonfree inside Firefox, then Flash seems to
reserve the alsa output, and when amarok started the

I have what I believe is the same problem. I have an Ubuntu 12.04 with
encrypted filesystem, which started displaying the problem after
upgrading to 15.04.
Bizarrely, the screen turns on and correctly shows the encryption
password prompt if I hit the "down" arrow on the keyboard, but not when
hitt

Erm, on second though that is not fine. /usr/lib/update-notifier/update-
motd-updates-available will still only set NEED_UPDATE_CHECK=yes if the
timestamps align, and my example in #14 can still happen.

On accessing http://thuejk.dk:12345/mumble-server/ shortly after
installing the mumble-server-web package, this error was in the error
log. Makes the package completely unusable for me.
Restarting apache had no effect. The Ice module seems to be enabled in
/etc/php5/apache2/c

Makes the "Call to undefined function Ice_intversion()" go away. But why
is that manual linking neccesary?
After that I get an error that /usr/share/mumble-server-web/www/weblist.php
It seems that slice2php needs to be run on a whole bunch of .ice files,
such as Murmur.ice , to generate files such as Murmur.php . The
slice2php command doesn't work unless the Ice include path is fixed, so
the Ice include path may be the root problem.
