I had logs for this problem, but they were corrupt so I couldn't
retrieve them or read them. fsck deleted the log files while doing the
2-hour long fixing that essentially removed all files from the hard
drive.

I've spent many hours getting around this problem in Dapper. None of
the workarounds in the bug comments have worked for me. Finally I
arrived across a solution that worked reliably:
Add the mountnfs command manually to the init script for the first
program that requires NFS for me. In this cas

copy/paste still sometimes fails in Libre
I'm also affected by this bug and I think this is a pretty severe bug. I
can't understand the 'medium' flag.
Two things I noticed that hopefully help to identify the problem:
A) Every other copy fails for me. After starting the program, the first copy
always works. The second copy fails and so on
