Hi - this is quite an old bug now. Qjackctl has moved on to 0.4.2 in
Ubuntu's latest releases now.
I have no problems using Qjackctl in Ubuntu Studio (which uses a jack-
sink to connect with Pulse Audio for desktop sounds). Then there is no
need to use ALSA directly.

This is happening to me too. It's HUGELY distracting when trying to use
2, 3, or more terminal windows.
I have 3x U2711 monitors hooked up via display port to a R9 Fury, so
hardware doesn't seem to be a commonality.

Thanks Chris. I think you are right. Audacity seems to be looking in the wrong
place for the ladspa plugin. A Debian bug reporter has found that it is looking
in /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/ladspa instead of /usr/lib/ladspa.

/sys/class/backlight/intel_backlight/brightness on boot and resume after
updating to 3.8.0-30-generic #44. Also tested waking the monitor from
power saving state (machine is still up, screen is off) and can confirm
this now works as expect

standard 3 octaves (not an octave and a half). I consider this closed.

For Yakkety, we have bundled the Numix Blue theme source into the

I would like to identify where the icons are used so that we can check
them after making this change. If they are truly identical, using a
symlink would at least save space. I might leave this to the next update
of the package.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and make Ubuntu Studio
better. I have not been able to reproduce this bug on US 14.04 (LTS), US
16.04 (LTS), nor the soon to be US 17.04.
