This has been mentioned in an article by PC Pro (one of the biggest
computer magazines in the UK) on someone using Linux for the first time.
Basically while installing automatic updates, the system crashed, then
once it rebooted things didn't work properly until "sudo dpkg
--configure -a" was run.

For the dev's...
On my hardware (specs n info on a previous post) I have no trouble at all so
far with touchpad while using the patc
Patch is not mine...
I just applied the patch to the packages and uploaded them for others to use!

I've made several attempts to launch a c4.xlarge and c4.8xlarge
instances using Ubuntu 15.10 Wily but am unable to ping the instance
after it has started running. The console shows that the instance
reachability check failed.
I am able to successfully launch c4.xlarge instanc
It happened for my in an upgrade from 14.10 to 15.04. Adding the ending
comment "### END INIT INFO
" fixed the issue.
So that this:

# Provides: virtuoso
# Required-Start: $syslog
# Required-Stop:$syslog
# Default-Start:2 3 4 5
# Default-Stop
Thank you Patrick Mertens! I was about to throw in the towel an re-install
win8.1.. you may yet have saved me a fate worse than downgrading to a
calculator lolol trying your guide now, and if successful will report back
results for the devs :)

Patch applied, tested and working perfectly :)
Been testing for over two hours now and hasn't missed a beat! no freezing, no
issues of any kind with touchpad.

ok, so this patch is definitely working this end.. no troubles at all now :)
Just in case anyone else wants to try it but would rather avoid the
patching/compiling bit, I have uploaded the two needed packages to my 4shared

Just to update,
I have now upgraded to Mint 17, and all files are now playing fine for me.
Seems it could just affect Mint 16?
@ Myriam, I am using the standard pre-installed version of amarok that comes
with Mint in both cases.

Same error I got... except my system also wanted "gl".
found nothing on google. found nothing with apt-cache or apt-file either! If
you find a solution please report back as freezing is driving me bonkers and
bumblebee just wont work for me either

Packages in question are:
ocl-icd-libopencl1
ocl-icd-libopencl1:i386
Removing those two and installing nvidia-libopencl1-331 makes my system
work, but no WINE sux!
