Public bug reported:

I'm trying out Ubuntu Gutsy and have noticed a very strange problem over
the last few days. I've noticed that some apps wont load such as
Terminal & Sound Juicer CD Extractor. The windows appear but do not
completely load. I wondered what was causing this, then noticed while
working off-line that they loaded fine. So by simply clicking on the
Wireless applet on the panel and un-checking Enable Wireless, Terminal
and Sound Juicer load up with no problems.

I have also noticed that the apps will load while searching for a
wireless network, just not when connected to one! Very strange.

I'm using an Acer Travelmate 3012WTMi. I update the system each time
updates have been available.

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
