I start my computer up. I can print from gedit. A single page.
I load a pdf document in evince, 65 pages, go to print and it just sits
there. The document is in the printer list but never prints and never
errors out.

Problem exists for me as well in Ubuntu 8.04. I cannot open a file via
sftp. It asks for my password twice and then gives a "General Internet
Error". I've gotten around this by running Open Office Calc via a ssh
session, but this is a very slow way and taxing on my server.

running 7.10 from a computer running 8.04. A progress bar comes on

If you are backporting changes, why don't you change the check for the
version to check the version with apt rather than its current check? If
Ubuntu admins can not trust their software to not give erroneous
security errors they will:
1. Start ignoring all security warnings.

I have attempted several times to reproduce the conditions snd can not
get it ti crash again.
I have flash 7 There was another issue where I changed the default
depth to 24 to fix firefox crash on pages with flash items. this was
done prior to this crash.
I am using sun java jdk 1.5 I very rar
flavour! But listening to the BBC news whilst I work is favourite of mine.

This happened to me after login, running Ubuntu 10.04 Beta 2 with all

I am running the version above. The bug has not occurred again for some
time now, maybe an update has sorted the problem. I have noticed Gwibber
has been much more stable.
Tried the above commands, but it said I could not remove them since they
