So if there's any other way to diagnose and fix this, with a GUI for ACPI settings for example, I may be able to stay with Ubuntu (7.10, gutsy, Kernel Linux 2.6.22-14-generic, GNOME 2.20.0) My laptop is a Novatech NNB-573 with: Intel Celeron Mobile M530 1.7GHz, Intel GMA X3100 Graphics Intel 82801HBM/HEM (ICH8M/ICH8M-E) SATA IDE Controller, Mobile PM965/GM965/GL960 Memory Controller Hub, Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller (http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/specpage.html?NNB-573) -- Crash on battery run-down https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/161144 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
