In this case, it seems to be an ntfs-3g partition causing the problem. Commenting out the line: "/dev/sda1 /mnt/c ntfs defaults 0 0" in /etc/fstab gets it booting again. Once the system is booted, I can uncomment it and mount it fine. No way of telling what the error is currently. -- Plymouth
