FWIW I for one have been using upstream's "perfect setup" configuration
(pointing alsa apps to pa via the libasound pulse plugin), and it's
worked great. With the exception of mostly diagnostic tools (speaker-
test for example), it's worked fine. Firefox still crashes with the
libflashsupport problems, but that's unavoidable as far as I'm aware.
